Today 4 April 2025, we had the great privilege to be invited by another PRIMA-funded project entitled NatMed (Nature-based Solutions on existing infrastructures for resilient Water Management in the Mediterranean), to share our experiences on implementing the AGREEMAR project in the Mediterranean countries. Together with the organisers we selected the stakeholders mapping as potential relevant tool for the NatMed project and discussed how this helped us in the AGREEMAR project to achieve our objectives.

During the seminar, Catalin introduced our AGREEMAR project to the audience, highlighting the main objectives and emphasising the need for strong stakeholders engagement in reaching the overall project goals. We briefly reviewed the main methodology developed by our colleagues from adelphi for stakeholders mapping and analysis and discussed the structure and the content of our stakeholders engagement plan. Following this, we organised a small exercise in which the team of the NatMed project have built three stakeholders maps for the NatMed case studies located in Turkey, Greece and Italy. We explored together the suitability of this approach and compared it with other methods used in the NatMed project, such as the co-creation of communities of practice.
We thank Irem Orman and the entire NatMed team for their interest in our project and look forward to other opportunities for collaboration.
